🌸 Yurucalo Privacy Policy

AndAI Inc. ("we", "us") sets out below how user information is handled in our smartphone app "Yurucalo" (Japanese name: ゆるカロ; the "App").

1. Information we collect

Information you enter

Profile information (nickname, birth year, gender, height, weight, goal weight, activity level)
Your meal, workout, and weight logs
Your email address, if you set up data transfer (email link) or join the waitlist

The "blood sugar curve" and similar figures shown in the App are estimates derived from the meals you log. The App never measures or obtains your actual blood sugar.

Information collected automatically

An anonymous identifier used for sign-in (Firebase Authentication user ID)
App usage, crash reports, and device information (Google Analytics for Firebase / Firebase Crashlytics)
The advertising identifier (advertising ID) and device information collected by Google AdMob to serve ads

2. How we use it

To provide the App's features (logging, estimated calories and blood sugar response, goal tracking)
To sync and transfer your data across devices and when you switch phones
To improve quality, find and fix bugs, and run statistical analysis in a form that does not identify you
To respond to your inquiries

3. Service providers and third parties

The App uses Firebase, provided by Google LLC, for data storage, authentication, and analytics; the information above is stored on Firebase servers. Google's privacy policy is available here.

We do not provide your personal information to third parties without your consent, except where required by law. As described in 3-1 below, information related to ad delivery is provided to Google (AdMob).

3-1. Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob, provided by Google LLC, to serve ads. To display and optimize ads, your device's advertising ID and device information are sent to Google and used in accordance with Google's advertising policies.

You can reset your advertising ID, limit ad personalization, or withdraw tracking permission in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).

4. Security

Access to your data is restricted to your own authenticated account, and all communication is encrypted in transit.

5. Retention and deletion

Your logs are kept until you delete your account.
You can delete your account and all logs from within the App (My Page → ⚙️ → Data management). Deleted data cannot be recovered. See also Deleting your account and data.
Uninstalling the App alone does not delete the synced data on our servers.

6. A note on health information

The App is not a medical device. All calories, nutrients, and blood sugar figures it shows are statistical estimates and are not intended for diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any condition. If you have diabetes or another medical condition, always follow your doctor's guidance.

7. Use by minors

The App is intended for adults managing their diet. Minors should use the App only with a parent's or guardian's consent.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will let you know through the App or other appropriate means. In case of any discrepancy between the Japanese and English versions, the Japanese version prevails.
